Why I shared my referral link
Tesla currently shows 650 free Supercharging miles for eligible new Model 3 and Model Y orders placed through my referral link. The person sharing the link may receive a referral benefit too. I used a referral link when I bought my Tesla and found the charging miles useful. Mine had 25% charge when I collected it, so I could stop at a Supercharger before driving home.
I also received another 100 free Supercharging miles, giving me 750 miles in total. That was my experience; the extra 100 miles may not be available with every order. Check the benefit Tesla shows you before buying.

Tesla offers different ways to pay, including PCP and PCH. I’ve been told that some leasing providers may be able to use the referral identifier david631278. If you’re ordering through a leasing company, ask them to confirm eligibility and that the referral has been applied before they place the order.
I found a referral link by searching Google, just as you may have done. Tesla limits referrers to 10 qualifying order referrals per calendar year. If a link doesn’t show a buyer benefit, the referrer reaching that limit is one possible reason. Always check the current offer with Tesla before ordering.
I’ve added Google Analytics to count visits and clicks on my referral link when visitors accept analytics. It won’t tell me whether someone actually ordered; Tesla shows referred orders in its app.

Which cars qualify?
Tesla currently lists new Model 3 and Model Y vehicles, including eligible new inventory vehicles. Certified Pre-Owned vehicles do not qualify.
Who gets a buyer benefit?
Tesla says buyer benefits are for someone purchasing their first qualifying Tesla product through a valid referral link. Check Tesla’s terms and the offer shown when ordering.
Can I add a referral after ordering?
No. Tesla says referral links cannot be credited after you place the order.
Is there a referral limit?
Tesla allows up to 10 order referrals per calendar year. Once the referrer reaches that limit, buyers using their link do not receive the buyer benefit.
